The Café@Calgary Arts is your one stop shop for freshly made food, cakes, drinks and a range of supplies from local producers. It is also the best source of local artwork on the Island.
The Café is currently close for the winter.
The Café@Calgary Arts is across the courtyard from the Hayloft and Farmhouse and is a beautifully converted stone arched building.
The Café serves teas, coffees and light lunches all day 10.00am to 4.45pm and delicious home baking throughout the day. If you are staying onsite and fancy breakfast, come and enjoy our breakfast rolls and pastries.
The Café doubles as an informal exhibition and display space for local artists, with a new artist featured every few weeks.
Wherever possible we use fair trade, organic, local produce, as well as homegrown herbs salads and vegetables when available. Why not try our home made soups, quiches and our renowned baked goods. Our chef, Duncan, is passionate about baking and you can tell by the quality of the cakes coming out of our kitchen. Don’t miss our amazing cakes, they are really worth a visit!
The Café is also licensed and serves a selection of wines and local Scottish beers. Find out more about our food and menu.
The café also has local produce for sale: Mull Cheeses, Tobermory pork bacon, sausages & black pudding, Tobermory smoked trout, Calgary free range eggs, Island bakery organic biscuits and fresh milk.
It is just a short stroll to the woodland walk, ideal to stretch your legs after some lovely food, and with plenty to see and explore for children and adults alike.
