The Carthouse Lofts are situated above the Carthouse Gallery.
Converted from a beautiful stone arched Carthouse, these two lofts offer accommodation of a very high standard in a truly idyllic location, 300m from Calgary Beach.
Both flats are on the first floor, up a flight of 12 external steps. Both are identical, one facing East and one Facing West. Each Loft sleeps 2 - 4 maximum and comprise of:
An open plan kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed.
Kitchen with fridge and freezer compartment, Electric Cooker & Grill, Television, Hi fi and DVD Player. Hairdryer. Wi-Fi.
One bedroom with twin beds.
One bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
Oil fired central heating combined with solar panels provides for endless hot water and double glazing with plenty of insulation ensures that the flats stay warm and very cosy. Around the walls there are many works of art by local artists and indeed, much of the furniture has been made in a craft workshop behind the Carthouse Gallery.
The lofts are let Saturday to Saturday with mid-week checkover and change of towels for loft guests.
