South Facing or Larger Room Tariff 2008

2 X Doubles, 1 x King, 1 x Double Self contained Suite and 2 x Family Suites

All rooms have Ensuite Facilities, Hi-Fi, Television with the addition of a video in the Family rooms and Tea and Coffee making Facilities.   There are 4 Rooms on the ground floor which are more spacious; the King Room has a hydro spa bath, there are the 2 Family Rooms and the 1 Self Contained Suite opposite the courtyard.  On the First Floor there are 2 Rooms, each with 4ft 6" double beds which have a South Facing View down the valley.

Childrens Rates

The following Rates apply for Children in Family Suites when accompanied by an adult.

1 Child under 3yrs, no charge;  2 Children under 3yrs, 1 charge of £12.50 per night B&B.

Children aged between 3 and 10 years £12.50 per Child per Night for Bed & Breakfast.

Children aged between 10 and 15 years £15.00 per Child per Night for Bed and Breakfast.

Children not in their parent’s room will be charged at the Full Room Rate.

Single Supplements

Sorry, as we only have one single room in the Hotel occupancy of a double or twin room as a single will incur a supplement of 50%.  Any additional singles required will be charged at the full room rate.  Single occupancy of a Double or Twin room in high season or on Bank Holiday Weekends will be at full room rate.

Cancellation Policy

If a Reservation is cancelled or shortened within 1 week of the arrival date, the deposit will be retained. We will only return the deposit if we manage to re-let the room or loft for the entire duration booked.  If we are given plenty notice of cancellation, at least 1 month prior to arrival we will try & re let the room or loft and hopefully be able to transfer the deposit to a new date or refund the amount less 10% administration charge.  We recommend taking out travel insurance in any instance. 

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at the Hotel but must bring their own beds.  They are not allowed on any of the furniture and must not be left unattended in the rooms.  There is a £2.00 charge per night per dog with a maximum of 2 dogs per room.

 Dovecote Restaurant

The Dovecote Restaurant is open serving Evening meals 7 nights a week during the season from 6pm to 8.30pm, we automatically Reserve a table for all of our in house Residents, the time to be specified either prior to or on arrival at the Hotel.  Childrens Meals are available off the Childrens Menu from 5.30pm until 7pm nightly or half portions can be made available off the Main Menu.

The menu uses much local produce, Mull's own beef, lamb, pork, venison, wild salmon and white fish with our own speciality shellfish often on the menu; Prawns, crab, lobster, scallops and crayfish in good supply from local and family connections.   The Menu is all priced individually with two courses from £20.00 per person and three courses from £25.00 per person.  Please click on the Dovecote Logo to see a copy of our current Sample Menu.
