Calgary is a quiet peaceful venue for small weddings, with a choice of 8 accommodations to suit
any numbers from 2 people – 40 people . Two of the properties have large kitchens & entertaining areas, as well as large gardens& patios, perfect for informal outside picnics & barbeques.
We have the following areas available for use with our wedding License:
1.The Sunlounge in the Hayloft- up to 24 people can be accommodated during the ceremony, the sun lounge can be used any day for a wedding if you let the Hayloft, or on change over day which is normally a saturday between 2-4pm, This is the wet weather venue for the Hayloft Garden Wedding.
2. The Hayloft Front Garden, up on the lawn with views down the valley to the top of the beach.
3. On The Mosaic Sculpture by the pond in Calgary Art In Nature , a beautiful tranquil place , in a woodland setting by a pond .- up to 50 people can assemble around the mosaic for the ceremony.
4. Gallery In The Woods , is the wet weather venue for the Mosaic weddings , it is up the stairs above the Calgary Art In Nature Visitor centre, it has good views across the pond to the mosaic & the woodland.-up to 50 people can be accommodated standing, For each venue a table and some seating will be provided.
Wedding License 2012 Tariff, dependant on numbers :
2-9 people: £200,
10-19 people : £300
20- 40+ people: £400
We no longer provide a catering service but can recommend asking local freelance chefs , or ask local catering companies or restaurants to host your wedding.
If you wish to book all the accommodation or a large part of it we recommend booking it well in advance, we only let full weeks April to October in advance, but will consider part week bookings put of season November to March.
